what cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (browser or hard drive). They let the site recognise your session, remember preferences, or measure how visitors interact with pages.
what fizzgig uses cookies for
We use the smallest possible set of cookies. Everything on fizzgig.ai is served without any third-party tracking, advertising, or cross-site analytics.
- strictly-necessary cookies — Supabase session cookies (prefixed
sb-) that authenticate you when signed in to the dashboard. Without these, you can't stay signed in between page loads. These are exempt from the consent requirement under Regulation 6(4) of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) because they are strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly requested (being signed in). - no analytics cookies — both our analytics providers (Plausible and Vercel Analytics) are cookieless by design. They count visits without setting any persistent identifier in your browser and without tracking you across other sites.
- no advertising cookies — fizzgig does not run ads or share data with advertising networks.
- no cross-site tracking — we don't embed third-party pixels, social login trackers, or fingerprinting scripts.
cookie table
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Supabase auth — holds your active JWT. | 1 hour (rotating) | Strictly necessary |
| sb-refresh-token | Supabase auth — refreshes the access token before it expires. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
Both cookies are set with HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Laxattributes. They are only readable by the fizzgig server (not by client-side JavaScript) and are only sent over HTTPS.
managing cookies
You can control cookies from your browser settings — most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies from specific sites. Blocking the fizzgig session cookies will sign you out of the dashboard immediately; you will need to sign in again to use any account-scoped features.
changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie or change what an existing cookie does, we'll update the table above and revise the last updated date. For material changes (e.g. introducing an analytics cookie), we'll notify active users by email before it takes effect.
